Everyone who participates in a SCHS show is responsible for the knowledge of and is subject to these rules:
Entry Fee: $15 per class, & $35 per Hunter division or $50 per dressage division. $20 per M & S classes. Pre-show schooling fee: $5 Office Fee. Checks should be made payable to Southern Classic Horse Shows (S.C.H.S). Entries register on-line at www.starridgestables.com, faxed to 843/784-7845, or email to stella@starridgestables.com or by the Wednesday preceding the show.
Dressage times will not be made without pre-registration. Dressage ride time will be e-mailed on Thursday before the show.
All previous unpaid entries must be paid before riders may participate in another show. All returned checks will be billed $30 for office expenses and the riders may not compete at another show until the check is made good.
You do not have to be a member of the SCHS to compete at these shows; however, you are invited to join the SCHS for no annual fee. No points will be counted toward year-end awards until a membership form is on file with the show. Membership in the SCHS entitles riders to participate in the year end awards. ALL HORSES AND PONIES MUST ALSO BE ON FILE BEFORE POINTS WILL BE COUNTED BY THE SCHS. RIDER AND MOUNT MUST BE A MEMBER OF THE SCHS FOR POINTS TO COUNT IN THE HUNTER DIVISIONS. Membership is from December 1 through November 30 of each show year. Points will count forward from the date joined. Riders only doing equitation divisions need not record their mounts. SCHS reserves the right to refuse or cancel membership.
